Mao's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy two cows to maintain her rice fields.

Mao's story

Mao is a married 49-year-old woman with two children. She has a small parcel of land where she grows rice to earn a living. Her husband is a construction worker in their community, earning a profit of $8 per day. She and her husband usually use their income for meals, an allowance for their school-going children, and other living costs.

To help with her farming, Mao is asking for a loan to buy two cows to maintain her rice fields. With the resulting increase in her profits, Mao hopes to improve her plantation and financially support her family and her children.

In the future, she wants to increase the size of her rice fields, renovate her old house, and push her children to continue studying at university.

Mao is very thankful to all lenders for their support.
