Benard's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more boxes of soap, dry cell batteries, bags of sugar, and cooking oil to sell.

Benard's story

Benard is an enterprising man in Masindi, Uganda who runs a retail shop and also utilizes some of his time in fish mongering, so as to earn an additional income for his family and improve his family’s standard of living. Benard used his previous loan to buy boxes of soap, dry cell batteries, bags of sugar, and cooking oil to sell to his customers.

Benard has a vision of constructing rentals and expanding his shop into a wholesaler, so as to have more income sources in old age. His setback is the small amount of capital invested in the business.
