Delandia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped aid in paying my marketing team to market the software we have developed for the healthcare sector. Marketing efforts include ads on social platforms, website branding, and recorded content for TV & YouTube.

Delandia's story

I was born and raised in Harlem by my single mother with one of my siblings. It was very rare that our father was consistently present so our mother did her best to care for us. We lived in and out of shelters for some time due to my mother not being physically or mentally able to work at that time. This experience taught me resilience, humility, persistence and tenacity - the type of experiences that no matter what you face, there was more to life than what you were currently experiencing and you were determined to create the exact opposite of that experience. At the age of 29 my mother left this earth. I knew that I had to instill a stronger drive to pursue my dream of creating this software which I had high hopes of her experiencing before she passed. There was no longer anything holding me back but myself, and I was and still am determined to serve those that are currently experiencing something similar. I refuse to stop until I have fulfilled this burning desire. I was inspired to establish Constance Artistry Care, LLC by my mother. My mother was a patient in a nursing home for over 10 years and recently transitioned in November of 2018. Having the firsthand experience of managing my time personally and professionally around visiting someone I cared for caused a great deal of frustration, regret and guilt for not being physically present and in consistent communication with my loved one. By experiencing such circumstances, I was able to consider the needs of the patient. Every patient desires to stay in communication with the outside world. Studies show positive outcomes of family presence on units within hospitals, nursing homes, cancer centers and other long-term rehabilitation facilities.
