01_Tpawa Group's story

Established in the area since May 2013, this "Banc Villageois" includes these nine women who are from the same village. They maintain good family, neighbor, and solidarity relationships. Their main business is selling. They have reimbursed over 10 loans without any difficulty.
Madame Awa, 67 years old, is the representative, standing to the right of the photo with hand upraised. She is a widow and mother to six children, two of whom are girls. They are all grown.
Madame Awa sells vegetables and various food products and evolves at the village market; she buys in bulk from large suppliers and resells at retail. She has over 35 years of good experience in this area.
With her loan she plans to buy sacks of cabbage, carrots, onions, peppers, and various other food products. She has a good grasp on her business, has a good clientele, and is successful despite the competition.
Her profits allow her to save at the "Banc Villageois" and to grow her business.
