01_Ndoukite Group's story
This banc villageois was set up in the neighbourhood in May 2013 and it is composed of 11 brave and dynamic ladies who live in the same village and share strong ties of friendship and solidarity. They work in various commercial activities. They have enjoyed several loans that they repaid correctly. Mrs. Ndoukite is 52 and the leader. She is on the left in the photo with her hand raised. She is married with two children, one boy and one girl, who are both adult and married. The boy passed away and she supports her two grandchildren. Mrs. Ndoukite runs a small business selling food products (hibiscus flowers, beans, dried fish...), she buys her products at the weekly markets and makes her sales at the market near her home. She has a solid experience of over 10 year in this field. With this loan, she will buy four sacks of hibiscus flower, five sacks of beans and three baskets of dried fish that she will resell with a profit. Her business does well as she is the only one in the village who sells these products. These profits will enable her to increase her savings, to pay her grandchildren's school fees, and to participate in the family expenditure.
