A loan helped to buy vegetables to resell.

01_Bineta Group's story

Set up in the community in May 2013, this Banc Villageois brings together these six nice women who are from the same village. They share good relationships of kinship, neighborliness and solidarity. Their main business is commerce, and they have paid back more than 10 loans with success.

Sixty-six-year-old Bineta is the representative, standing on the right of the photo with the raised hand. She is married and the mother of a boy. She works selling vegetables. She stocks up in gross from the market gardeners and resells in retail at the market in her village. She has good experience from many years in this field. With her loan she will buy sacks of onions, potatoes, carrots, cabbages, turnips, eggplants, and crates of fresh tomatoes, which she will resell with a good profit margin. She succeeds in selling off her products without difficulty.

With the profits she builds up her savings with the Banc Villageois and expands her business.
