Joaquina's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a greenhouse in order to produce high-quality vegetables all year round to sell to increase her income.

Joaquina's story

Joaquina is a 29-year-old Mozambican woman. She is married and lives with her husband and their three lovely daughters in Manica.

Joaquina is a humble and very hardworking woman. She makes every effort possible in order to contribute to her family's well-being. She loves to work with land as she grew up in a family of farmers. She produces mainly veggies, such as tomatoes, green peppers, cabbage and lettuce. She sells her products in a local market, sometimes at a low price due to the lack of quality of her veggies.

In order to produce high-quality veggies, Joaquina needs to improve her methods of production. This is why she is requesting a Kiva loan to buy a greenhouse in order to produce high-quality vegetables all year round to sell to increase her income.
