Leoto Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase the ACE 1 energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging, and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner, and saves money.

Leoto Group's story

Itumeleng is a 20-year-old woman who lives with four other family members in a multi-bedroom house, without access to electricity. She relies on family support and struggles with buying multiple fuel sources.

She spends the most amount of her energy expenses on gas and paraffin, which costs up to LSL 480 per month. She also spends as much as an hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Itumeleng and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel, and also to help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices at any time for free.

The ACE 1 clean cookstove is biomass- and solar-powered. For more information on the ACE 1 cookstove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook at @African Clean Energy.
