Mamokhalatsana Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase the ACE 1 energy system in order to have access solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Mamokhalatsana Group's story

Mahlompho is a 43-year-old woman who lives in a 2 bedroom house, without access to electricity, with 6 other family members including 5 children. Mahlompho relies on commercial farming and struggles with incompetent income and having to buy multiple fuels. She spends most of her energy expenses on gas and paraffin, which costs up to 310 LSL per month. She also spends as many as 6 hours per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Mahlompho and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free.

The ACE 1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE 1 cookstove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
