Montsoane Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase the ACE 1 energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Montsoane Group's story

Mabokang is a 51 year old woman who lives in a 2 bedroom house with 2 children. Mabokang works as a civil servant but struggles with buying multiple fuels. She spends the most amount of her energy expenses on electricity, paraffin, and gas, which costs up to LSL 350 per month. She also spends as much as 1 hour per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Mabokang and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered.
