Khoiti Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase the ACE 1 energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Khoiti Group's story

Matlalane is a 53-year-old woman who lives in a multi-bedroom house, without access to electricity, with six other family members including three children.

Matlalane relies on her husband's support and struggles with buying multiple fuels. She spends the most amount of her energy expenses on paraffin and gas, which costs up to LSL 220 per month. She also spends as much as one hour per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Matlalane and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free.

The ACE 1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
