Sara Rubenia's story

Sara attended school up to third grade. She is a widow and has a child who attends school.

Sara has sold tortillas for eight years. She decided to start the business because she needed income to get ahead. She sells in her house, from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. She also fattens pigs to sell when they reach a good weight, and she is currently taking weaving classes in order to make hammocks.

Sara will use the loan to buy fine yarn and needles to make hammocks; additionally, she will buy wood for the bases that she will use for this work.

She dreams of having well-established businesses, expanding them through her community, and giving a better quality of life to her child.
