A loan helped to purchase more clothes to use in her sewing in order to resell them in the markets.

Tujijurane Group's story

Greetings from Rwanda. Penina is 35 years old and is a married mother with six children. She lives happily with her husband in the Kabarore community in the east of the country. She owns a sewing business where she buys cloth and makes clothes for customers. This is her third year operating this business. Penina is organized and people like her because she knows how to make good clothes for them, and people testify that she is a woman of integrity in the society.

She is requesting a loan so she can overcome her challenges by purchasing more cloth to use in her sewing in order to resell them in the different markets. With her profits, Penina will be able to educate her children without any problem and be able to provide their basic needs. She hopes her family’s life will improve.

She is the Tujijurane Group leader. In the picture, Penina's hand is raised.
