Serah's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to increase her tailoring products.

Serah's story

Serah is a stay-at-home mom, a mother of two kids. She’s engaged in a mini tailoring business. She sews ladies’ blouses and matching items. She has two kids attending primary school. The elder one, a girl, is doing her grade 6, while the other is doing grade 5. Every morning she does her daily home duties after the kids are sent to school. She used to complete the incomplete sewing tasks and do her normal daily sales at the main market in the nearby school area. She found out that her talent has greatly impacted the lives of other informal mothers at the surrounding communities. She helps them save the time and cost of travelling to town to buy from the supermarkets. They place orders and do monthly installment payments to her. She sews different styles of ladies’ blouses and most of the women really admire the type and shape she sews. Seeing that she has been gaining interest and popular demand, she wants to increase her order for new materials. To do that, she’s requesting a loan so to help boost her production.
