Mafi's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy some more mulberry for her tapa making business.

Mafi's story

This is Mafi. She is a 46-year-old mother to seven children. Her husband is a farmer. They live in their own home. Mafi runs a business making tapa, where she joins a group of tapa making women in their village. Together they make different types and sizes of tapa.

Mafi sells out her finished product at the local market and also to family overseas. Her business is running very actively. However, she usually faces some difficulty in running her business. This includes lack of mulberry, due to mulberry selling out in the market, which has increased its cost.

She is applying for a loan from SPBD in order to purchase the right amount of mulberry needed. Her vision for the future is for her business to continue to grow into a better state.
