Manta, Manabí Province, Ecuador / Clothing

Joseline Johanna's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy clothing and shoes to sell at her store.

Joseline Johanna's story

Joseline is 24 years old, in a common-law relationship, and has two children (ages 6 and 2). Her husband is in the military. They live at a relative’s house in Manta, one of the most important cities on the Ecuadorian coast in terms of business and tourism.

Joseline is a young woman who enjoys earning her own income so that she can cover certain household expenses. For this reason, she set up a small store at her home three years ago where she offers a variety of products such as rice, sugar, personal hygiene products, and other goods to satisfy the needs of her customers. In addition, she spends her free time selling clothes and shoes through catalogs as way of generating extra household income.

This loan will be invested in the purchase of clothes and shoes to sell at her store. Her dreams include having a house of her own and a shop where her business can grow progressively.
