Aminata's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more ingredients that will be used in a food production business.

Aminata's story

Meet 36-year-old Aminata from Liberia. She is married, with two children. She attended school up to 12th grade. Both of her children are currently attending school while living at home. She runs a business that sells cooked food. She has dealt in this business for the past five years now and works 15 hours per day, six days a week. For the time being she has had no problem with her business.

She requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more ingredients that will be used to sell and increase her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help improve their standard of living. She is so proud of her business because it helps improve her standard of living. In the future she would like to build a house and continue educating her children.

She says thanks and gives appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
