8 De Diciembre Group's story

The group called 8 De Diciembre is made up of 14 women. They are beginning their second cycle of the women's committee programme. Among their activities, each one earns a living through their own enterprises.

One of the members is Antolina, who earns a living selling chickens she rears, eggs, and making and selling traditional chipas (a typical Paraguayan food), also on Sundays she sells grill-roasted meat and Paraguayan soup. She is a very active woman and with a lot of capacity to generate extra income for her household.

She asked for this loan to be able to buy meat, condiments, vegetables and other supplies to be able to continue with her sales.

Obs.: the children in the photo are the children of the committee members who asked for the loan.
