Aparna's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase fishes in order to expand fish selling business.

Aparna's story

Aparna is a 23-year-old married woman from a small village of Burdwan district, West Bengal. She is a housewife and her family is engaged in the fish selling business. Her family sells seasonal and regular fish at the local market. She has a household of four members and a monthly household income of INR 8,000.

She is planning to expand her family's fish selling business by purchasing fish in bulk from the wholesale market. She plans on increasing her fish sales by keeping more high demand fishes like carp and hilsa. However, her family's monthly household income is barely enough to meet their needs. Therefore, she has applied for a loan of INR 40,000 from Grameen Shakti, one of Milaap's field partners.

She and her family will be grateful for your kind support.
