San Blas Group's story
In total there are 18 women who want to work in a very constant manner so that they can improve their families’ living conditions. They are part of the communal bank in order to improve their day-to-day activities and thus feel proud of the objectives they achieve through perseverance.
Engracia is one of these women. She makes and sells chipas [cheese buns], a typical Paraguayan snack. She is a very hard-working person who works every day from early morning. Through her work she helps to support her family and looks for ways to give her loved ones the best.
She is requesting this loan in order to buy cassava starch, cheese, eggs, butter, and other products so that she can continue with her business as she has been doing. Note: The children appearing on the photo are children of the borrowers who applied for this group loan.
