Asseta's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy pearl millet, sugar, and kola nuts and to save money for improving her family's living conditions.

Asseta's story

Asseta is a widow, 47 years old, and the mother of four children, of whom the oldest is 32, and the youngest is 16. Asseta has a spot at a local market where she has been running her business for fifteen years. She is active in selling cakes.

Now on her 8th loan cycle with the microfinance institution YIKRI, she pays her loans back on time and is asking for a loan to buy 40 sacks of pearl millet, 8 bags of sugar, and 30 kg of kola nuts to satisfy customer demand. With the earnings, she is going to reinvest in her business, bolster her inventory, and save money for improving her family’s living conditions
