Djiekabara Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy seeds and herbicides to produce and sell fruits and vegetables in order to take care of his family.

Djiekabara Group's story

N'tji is a market gardener from Mali and fifty-five years old. He is married and the father of eight children who all attend the community school in the village. For thirty years, he has been a market gardener, growing tomatoes, cabbage, okra and onions in the village where he was born.

His partnership with RMCR has allowed him to buy more seeds, fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides at the local market. His revenue has gradually increased, leading to profits between 150,000 and 200,000 West African CFA francs. He uses part of his profits to renew his capital and the remainder to take care of his family's needs.

Water is becoming a scarce resource, even under normal conditions, which impedes his business from running smoothly. In the interest of making his business last over the long term, he plans to drill large-diameter wells to make water available all year long so he can meet the needs of the community.
