Huruma Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to supply sugar, coffee leaves, charcoal and water to make a local drink, and strengthen her initial capital.

Huruma Group's story

Ms. Marguerite, 48, is a customer of the IMF Hekima and president of the banc villageoise 'Huruma'. She is married and a mother of six children, of whom three are already married, two go to school and one is still young. Her partner is a shopkeeper.

Marguerite has been selling local drinks for 10 years with the start-up funds received from profits after harvesting her field in the village. Later she joined Hekima's loan program to support her business. With this new loan, she is going to supply sugar, coffee leaves, charcoal and water to make the drink and strengthen her initial capital.

The challenge in this business are rainy periods which destabilize her business. Marguerite wants to educate her children and build a house that will last.

Finally, she thanks Hekima and its partners for their support towards non-bankable entrepreneurs.
