Esmelida Amarile's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped Purchase showcase, notebooks, and clothes.
Esmelida Amarile's story
It has been difficult being a single mother so 6 years ago, because of her children, she decided to get a loan from her sister who lives abroad. Esmelida invested the money in a small stationery store in a place called Bahia (place in Guayaquil where many informal merchants have small businesses).
She moved the stationery store to her house and started selling clothes and toys. She works from 6:00am to 8:00pm with the help of her mother. Criminality in Fortín is unstoppable so therefore she closes her business early.
With the loan she will buy a showcase, notebooks, and clothes for her business. In the future she wishes to set up telephone booths at her business.
