Julia's story

Julia is 38 years old, married, and has 6 children. She lives in the central jungle of Peru in a town called Palmapampa, where she has her own house.

She has been selling groceries for 15 years. At first, she had a few basic household products, but with time, she began to expand her store and to sell not only groceries, but also office items. Julia’s idea was to diversify her products, taking advantage of the experience that she acquired in the business during all of this time. She works together with her husband and they have gained many clients due to the good service that they provide. This year they hope to exceed their sales from the previous year, since their goal is to expand their business to the point of having small branches in other communities.

This is Julia’s ninth loan with MFP and she feels grateful for the opportunity that they are providing to her with this loan. She promises to makes her loan payments on the scheduled dates. With the loan, she will purchase more products to meet the needs and wants of her customers.
