Gbassay's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more pepper, red oil, rice, soap, bitter balls, tissue, slippers, cold water, and other items to sell.

Gbassay's story

This is 46-year-old Gbassay. She is a hardworking business woman who is married with 4 children. The ages of her children are 11 through 27. All of her children are currently attending school while living at home. She attended school up to college.
She runs a business where she sells pepper, red oil, rice, soap, bitter balls, tissue, slippers, cold water and other items. She has been selling for the past 20 years and has had no problem with her business.
She asked for a loan with BRAC Liberia, a KIVA field partner. She is seeking this loan to buy more pepper, red oil, rice, soap, bitter balls, tissue, slippers, cold water and other items to sell, and enhance her business in order to ensure she meets her customers' demands.
Her love for her business continues to grow every day. She enjoys interacting with her customers, because it enables her to grow her customer base. Through her profits, she will be able to pay back the loan and improve her standard of living.
In the future she would like to build a house and continue sending her children to school. She says thanks for your support.
