Tuhimizane Ndosho Group's story

Pelagie is a customer of the microfinance institution Hekima [Kiva's partner in DRC] and the president of the community group "Tuhimizane Ndosho". She is 40 years old, married and the mother of six children. Five of her children go to school and her youngest one is too young to attend school yet. Her husband is a shopkeeper.
Pelagie sells hardware. She started this business in 2008 with starting funds from her husband. Later she joined the lending program from Hekima in order to support her business. With this new loan, she will source 125 bags of cement wholesale in order to strengthen her initial capital. Her business does not present any challenge.
She would like to put her children to school and to build a brick house. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and their partners for the support they provide to nonbankable entrepreneurs.
