Kenia is a young, married woman who three years ago decided to set up a neighborhood store to increase her income and help her family. This Haitian immigrant sells sugar, rice, oil, salt, seasonings, groceries, juices, soft drinks, cookies, vegetables, grains, and meats, among other additional items. In spite of there being more neighborhood stores in the zone, Kenia says that she has a very good clientele.
She is applying for this loan because she wants to buy more merchandise and increase her sales.
Kenia dreams of someday having a professional career and her own house.
