Gs La Fuerza Grupo 02 Group's story

Lancie is known for being a cooperative and helpful woman who always helps with the cleaning in her community. She is originally from Haiti. Lancie came to the Dominican Republic as a little girl and eventually stayed.

Lancie started working as a maid for a private household, but she eventually quit that job and started her business of selling fruits such as mangoes, pineapples, melons, avocados, papaya, and bananas. She also sells clothes such as skirts, dresses, shirts, trousers, pajamas, and other garments. By selling these products, Lancie is able to generate income to help sustain her family and her household. She was not able to finish her education, having dropped out upon entering secondary school.

Lancie dreams of someday having a prosperous life so that she can help others. For example, she would like to open a home to help children and the elderly.

Lancie is requesting a loan to buy fruits and clothing so that she can restock her businesses and continue generating income. Thank you for contributing to the solidarity group “La Fuerza Grupo 02”.
