Ihirwe Group's story

Constance is 34 years old and is a married mother with three children who are between 1 and 7 years old. All her children are attending school. She is living with her partner in the Kabarore community in the east of the country.

Constance owns a business of selling sorghum, maize, peanut and beans. The business is organized, and this is her first year in operation. She is requesting a loan in order to purchase a large quantity of sorghum, maize, peanuts and beans to sell.

With any profits, Constance will be able to continue educating her children. She hopes her family’s life will improve. She is the Ihirwe Group leader. In the picture, Constance raised up her hand.
