Meet a Kiva borrower on Instagram live, Friday at 4pm EST for World Refugee Day!
Total loan: $4,500
Spring, TX, United States / Education

Lindsayann's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase equipment for recording live video lessons, purchasing of editing software, and an accessible portal for families to log in and engage in live lessons, and lastly, pay instructors to create/teach the lessons.
I grew up in a family of educators, and came into my own education journey as an accidental educator. I thought I wanted to be a child life specialist, but decided this might not be best, when diagnosed with my own autoimmune issues. I worked in public education for a few years, but ultimately, my health and personal goals did not align well with public school. My favorite thing in my work now is seeing the progress students make in just a short time. When I started out, I did not ever foresee it would be more than me working in the business, much less with all the services we offer now. I absolutely love creating new learning opportunities, and seeing my team members now come up with new ideas to support student needs with just as much joy as I have.
