Phoustine's story

Phoustine is 23 years old. She is married and God has blessed them with one child, who is two years old. She is in the business of selling shoes. She has been in this business for one year and now her monthly income is 10,000 KES.

However, she has applied for the first loan from VisionFund Kenya to enable her to buy more shoes to stock, because the festive season is approaching. With the anticipated profits, she plans to repay her loan and also expand the business.

In the future, she plans to be a wholesaler, which will enable her establish her business and, thus, stabilize her income.
