Th_Arame Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fabric for resale.

Th_Arame Group's story

This "banc villageois" was created in June of 2015 and brings together five women who come from the same district and enjoy good relations. They run several types of business. They have repaid over 5 loans at maturity.

30-year-old Arame is the group representative and is standing on the right of the photo raising her hand. She is married and the mother of 2 children, a 7-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy who both attend school.

Arame has a small business selling fabric and crockery. She gets her supplies in the neighbouring countries and resells them in her district. She has over 7 years experience in this line of work.

She plans to use her part of the loan to buy 30 metres of damask "geztner" and 25 pieces of wax cloth which she will resell, hopefully for a good profit. Business is going well because she sells on credit with a daily charge.

Her profits enable her to take care of her needs and to cover the children's small daily expenses.
