Taim 5 Group's story

Leen is the featured borrower of Taim 5 group, which consists of one Syrian lady and two Lebanese ladies. She is a 21-year-old married Syrian refugee mother of one child for whom she and her husband work very hard.

Leen runs her own home-based business in clothing retail, where she benefits from a small income. She believes that her income can help in improving her family's financial conditions and would enable her to help her husband.

Leen came along with Angie and Majida to acquire a loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua to help their families and improve their businesses. Her loan share will be used to buy a new collection of clothing for her business in order to attract more customers and to satisfy their demands.

Leen hopes to keep improving her business and to be able to open her own shop one day.
