A loan helped to buy sheep and feed to fatten them.

Lg_Santhiaba Coki 1 Group's story

This group consists of 6 women who share strong bonds of solidarity and mutual assistance. They live in the same neighborhood and seized the opportunity to join the banc villageois that was launched locally in December 2009. Their main activities are small trade and livestock fattening.

Aby is the group's representative. In the photo, she is standing on the far right with a hand raised. She is the 28-year-old married mother of 3 children, one of them a boy. She fattens livestock and is experienced in this work that she has been practicing for several years.

She will use her credit to buy sheep and sacks of hay to fatten them for at least 5 months prior to resale. Proceeds from her sales will allow her to bolster her savings and expand her activity.
