A loan helped to buy pedigreed sheep to increase her income from raising livestock.

Nargiza's story

Nargiza is 34 and married with three children. She has a higher education and has been working in animal husbandry and agriculture since 1999 as the primary source of income for her family, primarily raising Gisar pedigreed sheep, which she has developed a passion for. She understands the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and knows how to manage a budget. She and her husband prepare winter fodder for the livestock themselves. Thanks to her hard work, she currently has 25 cows, 200 sheep and seven horses as well as seven hectares of land where she grows organic beans and potatoes and grows hay for her animals. She also earns additional income selling women's clothing and footwear at a shopping centre. Her monthly income is 30,000 KGS.

With the goal of further developing her farm, Nargiza has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 250,000 KGS to buy pedigreed sheep to increase her income from raising livestock. She plans to put income from the loan into further developing her farm and toward home renovations.
