Fe Y Esperanza Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase groceries and jugs of water and, so, to be able to offer her customers a quality service.

Fe Y Esperanza Group's story

Belen, 61 years old, is married and has 4 children. Five years, ago, she opened a shop selling water and groceries and selling Avon products. Her spouse is a welder and does repairs on doors and windows. In addition, they have the income which their children offer them to help to have better finances.

At this time, Belen is asking for a loan to purchase groceries and to invest in water in tanks (for drinking) and various companies purchase them for their workers.

With her extra earnings, in the future she wants to invest in a new business renting out rooms.

Belen is part of the Fe y Esperanza communal bank made up of 8 members and led by her. They have had 33 loan cycles, and consider themselves to be a responsible and comfortable group. Belen is cheerful, friendly, and very close to her group.

In the photo, two members arrived late to the meeting due to family reasons, but they had their photo taken the same day. They are Ruth and Zemira.
