A loan helped to buy more red oil, vegetable oil, rice, pepper and vita to sell.

Nee's story

Nee is 42 years old, married and blessed with two kids, aged 10 and 15 years old. They live at home while schooling. Nee is a high school graduate.

In order to help her husband with some household expenses, Nee sells red oil, vegetable oil, rice, pepper and vita. She has operated her business for 10 years and she considers herself a hardworking businesswoman. She learned how to sell from her mother and started to sell with her own income. Nee uses a car to transport to her business site and she sells six days a week. She likes her business because it keeps her busy.

Nee requested a loan through BRAC Liberia and KIVA Field Partner. This loan will allow her to buy more red oil, vegetable oil, rice, pepper and vita to sell in order to repay her loan and increase her income. She wants to become a big businesswoman in the future. She is highly grateful for the financial support BRAC and KIVA have rendered.
