Tamara's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cow in order to increase her milk sale volume to a factory.

Tamara's story

Tamara is 46 years old, married, and has four children. She has completed higher education, and she works as a medical counterpart. As a source of additional income for her family, she has worked in animal husbandry and agriculture for 20 years. Thanks to Tamara's tireless work, and the help of her spouse with the household, she currently has four cows and 25 sheep on her farm. She also has a plot of land measuring 3.72 hectares, where she grows beans and hay.

Tamara has a contract to supply organic milk to a local factory for the further production of dairy products. This allows Tamara to continually invest in her agricultural business. Tamara learned that, through Bai Tushum Bank, she could receive a loan secured by contract of further delivery. Through the Value Chain loan product, she applied for a loan in the amount of 50,000 KGS to buy a dairy cow. The goal is to increase milk sale volume. Payments from the factory, for the milk, will be directly deposited into Tamara's bank account, and repayments for the loan will be automatically deducted. She wishes to invest the income from the loan in the construction of a house.
