Ernestina's story

Doña Ernestina is a 53-year-old single mother with two children. She resides in the town of La Flecha, Santa Bárbara.

Doña Ernestina has been managing a grocery business for the past nine years. She sells basic household products such as rice, flour, salt, beans, sugar, eggs, snack foods, cleaning products, bread, juices, dairy products, and meats. This business is the main source of income for her family.

Doña Ernestina has requested several loans in order to buy more inventory for her grocery store. She is currently requesting another loan from ODEF in the amount of 25,000 HNL. The money will be used to buy basic grains, soft drinks, meats, dairy products, eggs, juices, snack foods, bread, and other grocery products in order to increase her clientele. Her plan is to continue investing in her business and expand her business even more so that she can generate more sales and earnings.
