Baktykan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a dairy cow to increase headcount of cattle and sales of organic milk.

Baktykan's story

Baktykan successfully repaid her loan, having using the funds as intended. She is very grateful to Kiva and everyone who helped finance her. Her farm currently has four cows and two horses. In addition, Baktykan has her own land allotment of 1.2 hectares and 3 rented hectares, where she grows peppers, beans, and clover to sell.

Thanks to Baktykan’s hard work, her operation brings in around 12,000 KGS a month, which is the basis for covering her family’s expenses for food and everyday needs. In order to further develop her business, Baktykan applied to Bai-Tushum Bank again for a loan in the amount of 50,000 KGS to purchase a dairy cow so she can increase her revenue from selling organic milk. Baktykan plans to invest the revenue from the loan in further developing her business, as well as paying for the full renovation of her home and buying a vehicle.
