Lg_Diadiordé Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy bags of peanuts.

Lg_Diadiordé Group's story

This group is composed of 26 women who share strong links of solidarity and mutual aid. They all live in the same village and have taken the opportunity to join the banc villageois once it was launched in their village in December 2009. The group members mainly work as vendors and livestock farmers.

Ms. Nakhe (the one standing on the far right with her hand raised in the photo) is the group representative. She is 34 years old. She is married and has five children, including two daughters. Her youngest child is ten years old. She works as a vendor selling peanut oil. She has plenty of experience in this area after having worked in it for a number of years.

With this new loan, Nakhe will buy bags of peanuts to process into oil and then retail at the local market.
With the revenues from her business, Nakhne plans to bolster her savings and to help her husband with family expenses.
