Rysbubu's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a dairy cow in order to increase sales of organic milk.

Rysbubu's story

Rysbubu, age 61, is married and is raising two children. She has a secondary education and has been engaged in agriculture since 1998. Thanks to Rysbubu's hard work, she currently has a well-developed farm. She has 1.5 hectares of irrigated land where she grows beans and plums to sell. She also has three dairy cows, eight sheep, and two horses. Rysbubu has a contract to deliver organic milk to a local plant for further processing into dairy products. This allows Rysbubu to invest continually in her agricultural business.

When Rysbubu found out that she could take out a loan from Bai Tushum Bank on security of her contract for a future delivery (as part of the "Value chain" product), she applied for a loan of 60,000 som (KGS) to buy a purebred dairy cow in order to increase the volume of organic milk she sells. Payments for the milk from the plant will be transferred directly to Rysbubu's bank account, and loan payments will be debited automatically. Rysbubu plans to invest profits from the loan in the further expansion of her business, which will allow her to improve her family's well-being and renovate her home.
