A loan helped to buy feed and vitamins for their pigs.

Maximo's story

Maximo is from Quezon, Nueva Ecija. He is 55 years old, happily married to his wife Miriam, and blessed with three children who are still pursuing their studies. Maximo has been in the farming industry, raising pigs and selling them for butchery, for almost two years. He delivers the pig's meat to the public market.

Maximo has been a good, paying client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI), Inc., for more than one year. He has been granted a loan amounting to 50,000 PHP under the agricultural loan program of ASKI. His loan will be used to buy feed and vitamins for their pigs.

Maximo's dream is to expand his piggery business and for his children to finish their education. He hopes that with the help of ASKI and the Kiva lenders, he will become successful in his agricultural business
