Charlotte's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a delivery van to reach more customers who could not previously afford clean drinking water.

Charlotte's story

Charlotte is a 45-year-old mother of 3 children: a 19-year-old daughter and two sons, 15 and 17 years old. Prior to her current role , she had 10 years of working experience in a coffee factory as a factory manager and as a sales and marketing manager in a textile factory.

Charlotte saw Jibu as a business opportunity that helps the community to get safe drinking water and also generate profit in the process. She started her first franchise in 2015 and now she owns two.

Charlotte’s biggest challenge is delivering water to her customers in both her franchises. She must rent a van, which makes Jibu water expensive to the end customer. This loan will allow her to purchase a delivery van that will deliver to re-sellers and customers that buy in big quantities.
