Farangez's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy sewing supplies to do gulduzi embroidery and improve her living conditions.

Farangez's story

Farangez is a skillful craftswoman from Tursunzoda, Tajikistan. She is a hardworking woman who is widowed and has two children.

Farangez has been embroidering different fabrics for six years. She is an embroidery master and mostly does national embroidery called gulduzi. Gulduzi is embroidery made on a pre-drawn pattern. This style is one of the most complex in gold embroidery art. Gulduzi is used for decorating dressing gowns‚ chapans, bride's shoes‚ boskat‚ skull-caps, and harnesses.

This responsible woman is asking for a loan from Kiva partner, IMON, to buy sewing supplies to do gulduzi embroidery and improve her living conditions. She is a returning borrower and has positive credit history.

She hopes to have you support!
