A loan helped to build a barn and buy livestock in order to increase her income from breeding.

Kandalat's story

Kandalat is a 63 years old widow and has 2 children. She has completed secondary education. She knows about agricultural technology and how to invest money appropriately.

She has been engaged in animal husbandry as the main income for her family since 1994. Thanks to the persistent work of Kandalat, her farm currently has 12 cows, 65 sheep and 2 horses.

In order to further develop her farm, Kandalat has applied to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 soms (KGS) to build a barn and for the purchase of livestock, in order to increase income from livestock raising.

Kandalat is planning to invest the income from the loan in the further development of her business and also to improve the welfare of her family.
