A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Gulum's story

Gulum is 28 years old and married, with one son. She has a higher education and works as a credit specialist in a local bank. A diligent, purposeful, and enterprising person, she is well familiar with agricultural techniques and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. To supplement her family's income, she has been raising livestock since 2012, breeding dairy cattle and selling organic milk. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, she has been able to develop her farm; she now has five cows.

In order to develop her business further, Gulum has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows, her aim being to increase her organic milk sales and cattle-breeding income. Gulum is planning to put the income generated by the loan toward developing her farm yet further and saving to buy a vehicle.
