Anarbu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to repair a barn in order to keep her livestock under better conditions.

Anarbu's story

Anarbu is a 63-year-old pensioner who is married with two children. She has a secondary education, is familiar with agricultural techniques, and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She and her husband have been raising livestock for twenty years, and this is her family's main source of income, including their sales of organic milk. In summer, they take the livestock out to pasture, and in winter, they keep them at home, in an old barn. Thanks to Anarbu's hard work, the farm presently consists of five cows, 15 sheep, and a 3.0-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows clover.

In order to keep her livestock under better conditions, Anarbu has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 70,000 som (KGS) to repair the barn. Anarbu is also planning to buy a vehicle in the future and to meet the costs of her younger son's education.
