Yeremakono Group's story

Korotoumou is the one in the photo holding the sheep by the rope. Malien, and 51 years old, she is married and the mother of five children, ages 11 to 20. There are two boys and one girl who attend school. Her husband is a farmer.

She raises ovine and has been doing so for 10 years. She buys and sells her animals in her area's weekly markets. The animal-raising business allows her husband to cover the familial expenses: clothing, hygiene, etc. Because of the revenues generated, after the sale she will have a profit of 20000 to 250000 F over eight. Her dream is to see her children succeed in school.
